1. Who we are
"Channel.TV," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the website at channel.tv. The website's sole commercial function is to receive and respond to private inquiries regarding the acquisition of the Channel.TV domain name. The operator is the data controller (for GDPR purposes) and the business (for CCPA/CPRA purposes) responsible for personal information collected through this website.

2. What information we collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it through the offer form on the home page or through direct email correspondence. Specifically:

- From email correspondence: the contents of your messages, your email address, and any signatures or contact details you include.
- Server-side technical data: like nearly all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically logs IP addresses, user agents, request paths, response codes, and timestamps for the purposes of operating, securing, and debugging the site.
We do not deploy advertising trackers, third-party analytics with cross-site tracking capability, social-media pixels, behavioral profiling, or session replay tools. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Channel.TV does not set first-party advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and bot mitigation as part of its standard edge service. Inquiries are sent directly by email; no third-party form-handling service is used. No cross-site tracking cookies are set by Channel.TV.
4. Third-party processors
We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate the site. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting (Cloudflare Pages), DNS, edge security. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Google Fonts — fonts (Inter Tight, Fraunces, JetBrains Mono) are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log IP addresses for the purpose of serving fonts. policies.google.com/privacy.
- Email provider — inbound mail to offers@channel.tv is handled by our email provider, which retains messages for normal operational purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketers. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. How we use your information
We use information you submit only for the purposes you submitted it for:
- To evaluate and respond to your acquisition inquiry.
- To negotiate, document, and (if applicable) execute a transaction relating to the Channel.TV domain.
- To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations associated with such a transaction.
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of the offer form.
We do not use your information for marketing without your express consent. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Our service providers are primarily located in the United States. We rely on the relevant providers' Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions where applicable, and/or your explicit consent (under GDPR Art. 49) for such transfers. 8. Data retention
We retain offer submissions and related correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary to evaluate the inquiry, complete any resulting transaction, and meet legal recordkeeping obligations. We periodically purge inquiries that have not progressed and that we have no ongoing legal need to retain. You may request earlier deletion of your information at any time (Section 9).
9. Your rights
9.1 California residents — CCPA/CPRA

If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have the following rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent). 9.3 Other jurisdictions
Residents of jurisdictions with comparable privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy statutes) have the rights granted under their respective laws. We honor verifiable requests from any consumer to whom an applicable privacy law extends rights similar to those described above.
10. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. The site is served over HTTPS only. The offer form transports data over TLS to Web3Forms. Our security disclosure channel is described at /.well-known/security.txt.
No internet transmission is perfectly secure. Where the law requires, we will notify affected individuals and regulators of any qualifying security incident within the applicable timeframes.
11. Children
The website is intended for adults engaged in domain acquisition. It is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Channel.TV does not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising; there is no tracking to disable. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected in an updated date and, where appropriate, in a notice on the home page.
